Troop 76G welcomes Scouts ages 11 to 17—or starting at age 10 and in the fifth grade, if joining after March 1 or if the Scout has earned the Arrow of Light in Cub Scouting.
Our Troop follows the traditional Scout-led Patrol Method. Older Scouts are elected by their peers to leadership positions where they plan meetings, organize trips, and mentor younger Scouts in the skills and traditions of Scouting.
We meet most Monday evenings during the school year at the Memorial Cabin. Our Scouts come from a variety of public and private schools across the area.
Active Scouts are expected to attend at least one meeting per month, with flexibility for sports, clubs, and other extracurricular commitments. Many of our Scouts are involved in varsity and club athletics, music programs, and school organizations.
